Ashutosh Rokade is a production designer, visual artist, and architect hailing from Pune, India. With a rich artistic background and a passion for creating captivating visuals, Ashutosh is a recent graduate with a Masters of Arts degree in Production Design from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Born into a family of artists, Ashutosh was immersed in a creative environment from an early age, fostering his innate artistic abilities. Over the past eight years, he has honed his skills as a freelance visual artist, specializing in translating conceptual ideas into compelling visual representations.

During his undergraduate studies in architecture, Ashutosh acquired a strong understanding of structures and the art of designing spaces. Driven by his passion for spatial design, he delved into the realm of production design, seeking to elevate his craft to new heights. His exposure to scenic design for theatre during his junior college years further fueled his interest in this field.

Before embarking on his journey at SCAD, Ashutosh worked on several Indian films, contributing to the art department and gaining valuable industry experience. Since then, at SCAD he worked on numerous short films as a production designer, including multiple XR stage (LED Volume) productions.

In addition to this, he was one of the few students selected for an internship on ‘May December’ a film by Todd Haynes which is officially selected for the esteemed Cannes film festival 2023.
